We propose to sort the place as a pedestrian enclave of social relations. Two underground levels beneath that platform host a market and a parking for residents together with archaeological structures and an area of historical interpretation . Above on the north side of the platform cultural, commercial and social facilities are linked to the immediate urban uses.
The platform is conceived crossed by light tubes that penetrate into the courtyards of the remains of Roman and Almohad houses providing them with natural light and illuminating the underground levels as well as serving for lighting the square at night. The rest of the square is kept as an open space three gardens that also serve as urban vestibules of the proposed uses.
