Background: Protection Plan of Aracena
Once we completed the Protection Plan of the Historic Centre of Aracena, we were commissioned their municipal master plan. The planning contained an intensive assessment of the natural physical environment, especially important in this enclave that is part of the Natural Park of Aracena and Picos de Aroche, an area classified by the European Union. The system of interesting hamlets and small villages included in the municipal boundary was also treated for their proper integration into the natural environment. And finally the municipal core, the town of Aracena, was subject to planning developed in great detail.
