Open to the light and the calms
Background: update of the European tradition of country villas
This house sits opposite the Bay of Biscay in an environment that can be friendly but that is often hostile by sustained winds in frequent gales and almost horizontal rain.
The building is in its defense and also of the important surrounding garden. Two complementary facades one radically closed to the adverse north and extraordinarily open to the favorable south.
The dialogue of materials displayed in its natural being, along with capturing all the lights are the decorative essence of this bright and full of light building open to meadows and the rich nature in which it blends.
