Guadix and its system of nuclei: Belerda, Paulenca, Bácor and Olivar, Los Balcones and Hernan-Valle were the subject of this master plan, drawn largely to conjugate and in support of the Protection Plan for its historical sites and its habitat of caves. An area of unquestionable interest on a high plateau including a fertile valley were the subject of the corresponding study of physical environment on which policy measures were derived on this basis.
