LANDSCAPE ON THE BEACH AND IN THE ISTHMUSA LANZADA
Pontevedra, Galicia / Contest entry
Reference to ethnographic design
Background: Planning of the Galician coast of Rias Baixas
Landscaping meets urban design in mid-scale interventions in which it is possible to appreciate the movement of dunes, vegetation and wildlife that comes closer or separates from the banks etc.
In A Lanzada our plan is associated with the ethnographic interest of the place very present in myths about fertility a byproduct of seasonal dip in its waters.
The small project of a function linked to tourism completed a theory on the way to integrate collective demands into the landscape.
