The small and well kept town of Muros whose core overlooks the River Nalón, hosts "La Granja" a farm estate and house of the Marquis of Muros which is contemporary with the birthplace house of Jovellanos in the historic town of Gijon, and holds with features from XV century onwards.
The landscaped garden enclosed in a large crenellated wall with two large doors, revolves around the design of a large and light pergola-cloister, The set opened to the sun at noon and protected from winds, captures valuable views of the estuary.
