First plan for an exceptional park

First of a series of Studies for the management of the Metropolitan Park of the Casa de Campo of Madrid developed as collaboration to the COAM (Institute of Architects)-Planning Commission
This unique park 5 times the size of NY Central Park, double the size of the two main ones of Paris, was the subject of this project, protection and management through a multidisciplinary transversal study of physical, environmental protection, classification of heritage and natural assets, metropolitan traffic, rules of use and function etc. The study proposed park management formulas which have then been adopted by the administration and also possibly in the subsequent strategic planning of the park. However even though at the time it developed an important project to restore the palace garden of the image and its exceptional scenic transit, this initiative has not been carried out to date
