Background: Italian, English and Dutch practice on neighborhood regeneration
The field of urban rehabilitation is inside the city in its various positions. So one of these demonstration exercises was about considering in detail the performance of recovery of family housing colonies which at that stage were threatened with replacement by uses and types of higher returns. This is a comprehensive rehabilitation proposal that emerges as an initiative of the Institute of Architects of Madrid, developed under our direction, with interventions designed from competitions.
The Pilot Study based on a deep typological study, first raised in our cultural situation, the application for the rehabilitation of financial, regulatory and management systems, proportionate to those that were then being promoted as actions of public housing, and does so expressly addressing the regeneration of the urban fabric
